Minimum Age Requirements

All players must be 12 years old or older. Please note, that Airsoft is an extreme sport that can cause pain and/or skin abrasions on impact. There may be loud noises, dimly lit areas and large crowds. Please evaluate your individual child to make sure this is a suitable environment for them regardless of age.

Players Under 18: Required to wear full-face protection, including eyes, mouth, teeth, and lower face. Full-face masks are the smartest choice.

Waiver Requirements

All players must have a signed digital waiver on file. If under 18, it must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. We only accept digital waivers—no paper copies allowed. Save time and complete yours before deployment.

Recommended Clothing & Accessories

Core Clothing Essentials: Long-sleeve tactical shirts, combat tops, or thick hoodies to cushion the sting of BB hits. Tactical Trousers: Durable everyday work pants or jeans that resist tears and protect your legs. Footwear: Sturdy combat boots, hiking boots, or supportive athletic shoes with good traction and ankle support. CLOSE-TOED SHOES ONLY.
Hand Protection: Full-finger gloves to protect knuckles and fingers from close-range impacts and scrapes.
What NOT to wear: Bare skin (shorts and short sleeves) leaves you open to painful welts. Open-toed shoes like sandals or flip-flops offer no protection or grip.
You can also wear tactical gear:
• Protection: Thick fabric, vests, and masks help soften BB impacts.
• Storage: Tactical vests and rigs hold extra BB magazines, gas, and radio gear.
• Immersion: Military-style outfits make indoor skirmishes feel more exciting and realistic.
• Customization: Patches, bright colors, or cosplay looks let players show their personal style.

Mission readiness starts with absolute safety. All operatives must verify their equipment and field knowledge using the guides below before booking or arriving at the arena.

General arena rules

Essential Safety Protocol
• Replicas must be cased or bagged until inside; never show gear in the lot.
• Barrel socks on rifles and holstered pistols are mandatory off-field.
• Mandatory safety briefings for all; miss a rule and you'll re-watch it.
• Vandalism leads to immediate removal and damage costs.
• Absolutely no real firearms or live ammunition permitted on-site.

Equipment Requirements - FPS/Chrono

ARENA SAFETY DIRECTIVES
• Full face and eye protection are mandatory for everyone entering the arena—no exceptions allowed.
• Treat the play floor as 'hot' at all times, regardless of whether other players are visible.
• Failure to strictly follow mandatory gear requirements will lead to immediate expulsion without a refund.
• Protection must be impact-rated full-face masks or full-seal Z87.1+ eyewear featuring rigid lower protection.
• Equipment triggers must operate via mechanical cycles; hair-triggers are strictly prohibited.
• All replicas must have safety switches (unless build-native) and barrel covers equipped.
• Every replica must have a functional safety mechanism, except for equipment built without external switches.
• Replicas require functional trigger guards and triggers with distinct take-up; one-finger operation only with a positive grip.
• Velocity Limits: .20g BBs maxed at 300–350 FPS; .25g BBs maxed at 270–315 FPS.
• We only permit the use of high-quality .6mm BB brands within our facility.
• Tactical flashlights are limited to 300–400 lumens and must have lens protectors installed.
• Tracer BBs are permitted for use during missions.

Tornado grenades may be used during gameplay, provided they are approved by Indoor Airsoft MN staff and used in accordance with arena rules.

PROHIBITED ITEMS & PROTOCOLS

Indoor airsoft is strictly close combat; maintain spatial awareness at all times.
No grenades of any kind (sound, smoke, or pyro) are allowed inside the facility. Our FOG machines may be utilized for some game play.
Lasers are prohibited unless Indoor Airsoft MN specifies a permitted type for a special event.
Real firearms and live ammunition are absolutely banned from the property.
Unauthorized pyrotechnics and incendiary devices are strictly prohibited.
Weapons of any kind.
9.01[C] Rule
Anything not expressly written in the rules is up to the official (referee).
We typically do not allow shields. There may be an occasional exception to this rule with prior approval from a referee for certain game types.

Please be advised that fog machines and black lights are used in some game scenarios to enhance the immersive experience of our arena. We do NOT utilize Strobe lights!

Guests with photosensitivity, epilepsy, asthma, or sensory sensitivities should use caution or choose to sit out those specific games. The safety and comfort of our operatives are our highest priority.
